The Dog

Like chiropractic, chirovetpractic began over 90 years ago. Unlike chiropractic, chirovetpractic diagnostic, and treatment techniques are totally different because of the differences in the skeletal biomechanics of the biped, and the quadruped.

I have adjusted over 1000 horses, 1000 dogs, 40 to 50 cats, 3 mules, 2 wolves, several llamas and a camel. In dogs, I estimate that I am 98+% successful relieving hip dysplasia, disc problems, dry skin, foul breath, inability to jump up, or jump well, paralysis of one or both rear legs, lameness, small litter sizes and other symptoms.

MY FIRST DOG ADJUSTMENT

I was about 4 years into my speciality practice, treating horses with chirovetpractic techniques, when the owner of the horse I was diagnosing said, "My horse has difficulty going uphill, downhill and jumping." What popped into my mind was, "Those are the symptoms of hip dysplasia in the dog." Over the next few days, I kept thinking of where I could find a dog to get my hands on. While at a pleasure horse stable, I spotted an old dog hobbling by, and asked the owner if he minded if I did some adjusting on the dog. He agreed.

When I returned a week later, to do a followup on a horse, and the dog, the owner walked up to me and said, "What in the hell did you do to my dog?" When I could finally clear my throat by swallowing my heart, I asked in a weak voice what was wrong. He said, "She's 12 years old, running around, acting like a puppy again." Then he smiled, knowing that he had scared the hell out of me.

ENDORSEMENT

German Shepherd Dog Fanciers of Northern California

"For the past five years, we have had excellent results with chirovetpractic treatments for our German Shepherd Dogs, varying in ages from puppies 8 weeks and older, to adults ranging to 11 years of age.

Our German Shepherds are show dogs, active in conformation, and several performance events, including herding, in which strenuous activities have resulted in back and neck dislocations, very evident to us in changes of gait, stamina, coat condition, and general demeanor. The results from Dr. Hathaway's chirovetpractic treatments have been evident in improrement ranging from immediate relief of symptoms, to slow but steady improvement in movement directly related to structure.
